Arsenal agree personal terms with English-Nigerian forward Eberechi Eze
Arsenal have agreed personal terms with England forward of Nigerian descent Eberechi Eze as the club continues to work to secure the signing of the player this summer.
The Crystal Palace star has been on Arsenal’s radar for several weeks, with the player understood to be keen on a switch to the Emirates.
It is understood that Eze has now agreed to personal terms with the North London club.
The Gunners have been one of the most active clubs in the summer transfer window, already adding the likes of Noni Madueke, Viktor Gyökeres, Martín Zubimendi, Cristhian Mosquera, Christian Norgaard, and Kepa Arrizabalaga to their squad.
Eze’s addition would further bolster Arsenal’s attacking options as they aim to challenge Liverpool and other title contenders in the upcoming Premier League campaign.
Arsenal are now preparing to submit an official offer to Crystal Palace. Should negotiations between the clubs stall, the Gunners are expected to consider activating Eze’s release clause, which stands at £60 million plus an additional £8 million in potential add-ons.
