Italian giants Inter Milan have presented an opening bid of €40 million to Atalanta in their quest to sign Nigerian forward Ademola Lookman.
According to Transfer Insider Fabrizio Romano, the initial bid has been turned down by Atalanta, with the club demanding €50 million for their star attacker.
“Inter informed Atalanta about their opening €40m bid for Ademola Lookman, while Atalanta insist on fee at least reaching €50m.
“Lookman wants to leave and hope club will facilitate his exit but Atalanta keep their position on no green light to Italian clubs at €40m,” Romano said in a post on X.

He now looks set to join Inter Milan in what will be a step forward in his career.
