France forward of Algerian descent, Rayan Cherki, has heaped praise on Spain and Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola.
According to him, the renowned tactician is the best coach in the world at the moment and the best in history as well.
“For me, Pep Guardiola is the best coach in the world and I think he’s the best coach in history,” Rayan Cherki said in an interview.
Rayan Cherki, 21, signed for Manchester City from Olympique Lyon at the end of the 2024/25 football season.
He was part of the Pep Guardiola side that represented Manchester City at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
Although the English club crashed out at the Round 16 stage, fans are optimistic that the team will do great in the 2025/26 football season.
Rayan Cherki comes in as a key squad reinforcement signing and will be expected to play an important role for Pep Guardiola’s side.
