Tensions are rising at Petrojet as the club takes a firm stance in the ongoing transfer drama involving midfielder Hamed Hamdan.
The team’s head coach, Sayed Eid, has removed Hamdan from group training sessions, instructing him to train alone while talks with Zamalek remain unresolved.
Petrojet’s decision comes after negotiations with Zamalek hit a wall. Despite a recent meeting between both clubs last Sunday, no agreement was reached. Petrojet remains determined to keep hold of their key midfielder and has stood firm in the face of external pressure.
According to sources from Kooora, Hamdan is furious after Petrojet rejected Zamalek’s latest offer. The player, who had also received an offer from Qatari side Qatar SC, made it clear that he has no interest in any other club but Zamalek.
While the standoff continues, Zamalek have already strengthened their squad this window, announcing the arrival of four new players, Angolan winger Chico Banza, goalkeeper Mahdi Soliman, Amr Nasser, and Ahmed Sherif.
For now, Petrojet show no signs of backing down, leaving Hamdan’s future hanging in the balance as the transfer window edges closer to its end.
