Highly-rated Ghanaian forward Mercy Attobrah has completed her move to Al Ahly Women.
The talented attacker has been signed by the African giants as part of a move to strengthen their squad for the 2025/26 football season and beyond.
Al Ahly Women announced the acquisition of the attacker in a post on their official Facebook page on Tuesday, July 15.
“From the Black Stars to the Pride of the Nation ????. Welcome to the Club of the Century, Mercy Attobrah,” Al Ahly Women announced.
Mercy Attobrah, 18, has moved to the Egyptian club after her short stint with Ghana Women’s Premier League club Hasaacas Ladies.
The forward with exceptional skills and goal-scoring ability hails from Koforidua, New Juaben South, in the Eastern Region of Ghana.
She started her football journey at a young age, showcasing her talent and passion for the game.
Her time at Halifax Queens FC allowed her to develop her skills and gain valuable experience on the field.
She has now signed for Ahly Women and will be expected to continue working hard to continue her development in hopes of reaching her full potential.
