Ghana forward Mohammed Kudus turns down move from Bayern Munich
Ghana international Mohammed Kudus has reportedly turned down an offer from German Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich.
According to TBR Football via weltfussball.de, Bayern had identified the West Ham United forward as a key target in their search for attacking reinforcements, particularly for the left wing.
The Bundesliga champions reached out to Kudus following their recent elimination from the FIFA Club World Cup to gauge his interest in a potential switch to Munich.
However, the 24-year-old has made it clear he is not interested in the move. Kudus, who has impressed with his versatility and creativity in attack, reportedly told Bayern he cannot envision playing in Germany at this stage of his career and is keen to continue his journey in the Premier League.
While Bayern Munich’s interest has cooled, Tottenham Hotspur have emerged as the frontrunner in the race for the Ghana international’s signature. A transfer fee in the region of €60 to €70 million, including bonuses, is reportedly being discussed.
Kudus joined West Ham in 2023 and has quickly become one of the Premier League’s most exciting attacking talents, with his performances attracting interest from top clubs across Europe.
Chelsea are said to be pushing for a deal to sign Mohammed Kudus.
