Franco-Angolan defender Castello Lukeba attracts interest from Bayern Munich and two other top clubs
France international of Angolan descent Castello Lukeba has emerged as a top transfer target for top European clubs following an impressive performance at RB Salzburg.
The 22-year-old is looking forward to exiting the German Bundesliga outfit amid growing interest in the highly-rated centre-back.
Since joining Leipzig from formative club Olympique Lyonnais, Lukeba has built his reputation at the club, marking 72 appearances.
As the summer transfer window heat up, Lukeba, considered as one of the top defenders in Europe has attracted significant interest from Bayern Munich and Premier League duo, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur.
The defender, who is open to a departure this summer is priority target for the English and Bundesliga clubs as they seeks to bolster their squad for the new campaign, particularly in the Champions League.
Whilst the defender has a release clause worth €90m, RB Leipzig are open to parting ways with their player for a lower fee.
Lukeba has also previously been linked with the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea, and Real Madrid, and his current deal runs until 2029.
