Cameroonian striker Youssoufa Moukoko’s earnings at new club FC Copenhagen revealed

Cameroonian youngster Youssoufa Moukoko is reportedly on a €1 million per annum salary at his new club FC Copenhagen.

The striker signed for the Danish club over the weekend in a move from German Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund.

A report by Danish outlet “Bold” has indicated that Youssoufa Moukoko took a massive pay cut to make his move to FC Copenhagen successful.

The forward, while at Borussia Dortmund, earned around 8.5 million euros. Compared to the 1 million euros he will be taking at FC Copenhagen, Youssoufa Moukoko will be earning significantly less.

Meanwhile, further checks have disclosed that the attacker’s earnings could rise to 1.7 million euros every year through performance-related bonuses.

These bonuses depend on his playing time, number of goals, and the team’s results.

At FC Copenhagen, Moukoko has signed a deal until the summer of 2030. He will be hoping to excel at the club after ending his long stay at Borussia Dortmund.

Speaking in his first interview after signing for the club on Saturday, the youngster pledged to give his all on the pitch for his new club.

“F.C. Copenhagen is a big club with big ambitions that match my own. We’ve had good conversations, and I’m very happy to be here. I can feel that there’s trust in me, and now I’m just looking forward to getting started and giving it my all on the pitch,” Youssoufa Moukoko said as quoted on the website of the Danish club.

The Cameroonian continued, “I played against F.C. Copenhagen in the Champions League in 2023, and it was a strong experience that made a big impression on me. The experience in Parken was fantastic, and I could feel that it’s a club with the Danish capital behind it.

“I’m looking forward to being a part of it and showing what I stand for in that beautiful white jersey.”
