The Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) officially handed over the Shuiber Stadium to the Guercif municipality today.
The completion of the installation of high-quality artificial turf marked the conclusion of extensive renovations, undertaken at a cost of 9 million Moroccan Dirhams.
The delegation overseeing the handover was led by Mr. Abdelmalek Abron, representing the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, along with a representative from the National Agency for Public Facilities, deputy mayors of the Guercif municipality, a representative from the Eastern Regional Football League, and a local authority representative.
The Shuiber Stadium has been equipped with top-notch artificial turf, adhering to standard football field dimensions and meeting health and safety standards.
This initiative is a robust addition to Guercif’s sports scene, enhancing the city’s sports infrastructure and providing a suitable space for local sports teams.
This project was initiated following the approval, during the regular May 2019 session of the Guercif Municipal Council, of a partnership agreement between the municipality and the Royal Moroccan Football Federation.
The aim was to upgrade the Shuiber Stadium with high-quality artificial turf, ensuring the enhancement of local sports facilities.
The Shuiber Stadium, with its modernized facilities, is poised to become a focal point for sports activities in Guercif, fostering community engagement and providing a platform for local athletes to hone their skills.
The FRMF’s commitment to improving sports infrastructure across Morocco is exemplified by such initiatives, reflecting a dedication to the development and promotion of football at both the local and national levels.
