French Ligue 1 side Olympique Marseille are keeping tabs on Algerian defender Ramy Bensebaini at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
The Ligue 1 outfit is keen on signing the full-back to augment their squad ahead of the 2025/26 football season.
Bensebaini is currently impressing with his performances at the FIFA Club World Cup and has featured in all three group games for Dortmund.
According to French outlet RMC Sport, Marseille are weighing up the possibility of signing the 30-year-old, though no formal offer has been made yet.
The situation could evolve rapidly once the Club World Cup concludes and the transfer market begins to pick up pace.
Bensebaini, who joined Borussia Dortmund from Borussia Mönchengladbach in 2023 on a free transfer, remains under contract with the Bundesliga side until 2027.
Dortmund are not actively looking to sell the Algerian international and currently holds the stronger negotiating position due to the absence of a release clause.
However, reports suggest the German club could be open to negotiations if an offer in the region of €20 million is tabled.
Although Borussia Dortmund have no plans of selling the Algerian defender, they could be forced to listen to offers if a good bid is presented.
