Zinedine Zidane, the former French international and World Champion of 1998, has extended his support to Rodez’s training efforts. Zidane, known as “Zizou,” explained his involvement with the CFA club by highlighting his personal connections with team leaders and his eagerness to contribute to the development of their training program.
Zidane expressed that there comes a point in life when certain actions are necessary, and he felt capable of making a positive impact. He emphasized that his commitment goes beyond financial contributions (the specific amount undisclosed) and is rooted in sentimental and human relationships with the club’s leaders. Zidane sees himself as an active and responsive partner, aiming to help Rodez thrive in the region.
The Franco-Algerian football legend also shared his thoughts on the Barcelona-PSG match. Zidane is a supporter of the Parisian club and anticipates a challenging match for them. Despite acknowledging the difficulty, he finds the late-game scoring by PSG interesting, suggesting that continuous pressure over the full 90 minutes could trouble their opponents. Additionally, Zidane mentioned that the absence of Messi from the Barcelona side would be an advantage for PSG, but he recognizes the complexity of playing at the Nou Camp.
