The draw for the 2025 WAFU Zone B U20 Boys Championship was officially held today, Friday, June 20.
Ghana’s U20 national team has been drawn in Group A alongside rivals Nigeria and Benin for this year’s tournament.
In Group B, Ivory Coast and Burkina Faso are set to lock horns in what would be an interesting game.
The other countries in the group include Niger and Togo.
A total of seven West African nations will compete, with the top two teams from each group progressing to the semifinals.
The tournament is scheduled to run from July 10 to 23, 2025, at the GFA Technical Centre in Prampram.
The event remains a vital platform for developing young football talent across the West African sub-region.
