Saudi Pro League side Al-Qadsiah are prepared to trigger the €52 million release clause in Moise Kean’s Fiorentina contract when it becomes active between July 1 and 15, positioning themselves ahead of European rivals in the race for the Italian striker.
Kean, who has Ivorian heritage, could see a dramatic shift in his career with the Middle Eastern club ready to offer a significant pay rise.
According to reports from TMW, Al-Qadsiah are willing to hand the 24-year-old a three-year contract worth €15 million per season, far above his current salary of €2 million annually at Fiorentina.
The Saudi club’s aggressive approach highlights their ambition to compete at the top level both domestically and in continental competitions, and they are banking on Kean’s Serie A experience and international pedigree to spearhead their attack.
While Al-Qadsiah appear favourites, AC Milan and Manchester United are closely monitoring the situation.
A move to Milan would reunite Kean with Massimiliano Allegri, his former coach at Juventus, while Manchester United are said to be in the market for a more mobile forward to complement or rotate with Rasmus Højlund and recent signing Joshua Zirkzee.
Kean joined Fiorentina after an underwhelming spell at Juventus but has shown glimpses of form, prompting renewed interest in his services.
However, the financial package offered by Al-Qadsiah would be difficult for any European club to match.
If the deal goes through, it would represent one of the most high-profile moves of the Saudi transfer window, continuing the league’s trend of targeting players in their prime rather than veterans nearing the end of their careers.
Kean has been capped multiple times by Italy but continues to search for consistent form and playing time—something Al-Qadsiah are willing to guarantee both on and off the pitch.
