🇸🇳 Cheikh Sarr (Senegal) – Basketball
A surprise name for football fans, Cheikh Sarr deserves recognition for his role in Senegal’s impressive showing at the 2014 FIBA Basketball World Cup. With an exceptional domestic record (118 wins in 148 games), Coach Sarr has raised the profile of Senegalese basketball on the world stage.
🇨🇩 Florent Ibengé (DR Congo) – Football
The man in form! Florent Ibengé had an outstanding year, leading AS Vita Club to the CAF Champions League final and qualifying DR Congo for AFCON 2015 under tough conditions. His ability to juggle club and national team duties has earned him widespread acclaim.

🇿🇦 Heyneke Meyer (South Africa) – Rugby
From the rugby field, Heyneke Meyer brings a different dimension. Head coach of the Springboks, Meyer built a fierce team that reached 2nd in the IRB world rankings. His leadership in a highly competitive global sport is worthy of acknowledgment.
