LIGUE 2: ALEXANDRE MENDY CONSIDERS RETURN TO NICE DUE TO LIMITED PLAYING TIME AT NÎMES
Loaned to Nîmes Olympique from OGC Nice last summer, Alexandre Mendy is reportedly considering a return to his parent club. The 20-year-old striker, who spent the previous season on loan at Strasbourg (National), has struggled to find his footing in Ligue 2.
According to Midi-Libre, Mendy is unhappy with his current situation, having played only one full match since the start of the season. Frustrated by the lack of playing time, the young forward is said to be pushing for a return to Nice, where he hopes to relaunch his career.
While the final decision lies with the two clubs, a January move seems increasingly likely.
