Reims Travel to Nice Without Injured Moukandjo and Several Key Players
Stade de Reims will face OGC Nice without several important players, including Cameroonian forward Benjamin Moukandjo, who is sidelined with an ankle injury. Moukandjo, a recent contributor to Cameroon’s qualification for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations, was not deemed fit for the trip.
Head coach Jean-Luc Vasseur is also dealing with a growing injury list. Mads Albaek is out with pubalgia, Eliran Atar is suffering from a right ankle issue, Sacha Bastien has a right thigh injury, Diego Rigonato is recovering from a thoracic injury, and Alexi Peuget remains unavailable due to a left knee problem.
Despite these setbacks, Vasseur has named the following squad for the trip to the Allianz Riviera:
Goalkeepers: Agassa, Placide
Defenders: Conte, Fofana, Mandi, Mavinga, Mfulu, Roberge, Signorino, Tacalfred
Midfielders: Bourillon, Devaux, Fortes, Glombard, Oniangué
Forwards: Courtet, De Préville, Ngog
Reims will look to rely on their squad depth as they aim to secure points on the road in this crucial Ligue 1 fixture.
