WAEMU Tournament Postponed Due to Francophonie Summit
The 7th edition of the WAEMU Tournament, initially scheduled to be held in Lomé, Togo, from November 22 to 29, 2014, has been postponed to a later date, according to the Togolese Football Federation (FTF).
The postponement is linked to the timing conflict with the 15th Francophonie Summit, which is set to take place in Dakar, Senegal, on November 29–30. The presence of Togolese President Faure Gnassingbé at the summit, along with other heads of state, is required as they gather to elect a new Secretary General of the Organisation internationale de la Francophonie (OIF), replacing Abdou Diouf.
New Date Pending
The new dates for the tournament will be announced in due course.
Group Composition (Before Postponement):

Group A: Mali, Togo, Niger, Ivory Coast
