GHANA’S BLACK STARS GIVE BACK IN TAMALE AHEAD OF DECISIVE TOGO CLASH
On the eve of their crucial AFCON 2015 qualifier against Togo, the Black Stars of Ghana have extended a heartfelt gesture to the people of Tamale, the host city for Wednesday’s encounter. In a powerful show of solidarity, the national team paid a visit to a local orphanage, bringing with them food supplies, sweets, and medical products.
Led by team coordinator Emmanuel Adu, the delegation — including players and technical staff — distributed bags of rice, corn, cooking oil, and pharmaceutical goods to assist the center’s residents and health workers. They also made a cash donation to support the facility’s needs.
This act of generosity comes as Ghana aims to secure at least a draw against Togo to guarantee qualification for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations in Equatorial Guinea. The match kicks off Wednesday at 4 p.m. UTC in Tamale.
