AC Milan have identified RC Strasbourg’s Guela Doué as a potential replacement for veteran full-back Kyle Walker, who is expected to leave the club this summer.
The 22-year-old Ivory Coast international only joined Strasbourg last season in a €6.5 million move from Stade Rennais.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan have added the right-back to their shortlist as they prepare for significant changes in defence.
Alongside Walker, Emerson Royal is also tipped for a departure, while questions remain over the defensive reliability of Álex Jiménez, despite his promise going forward.
Since arriving at Le Racing, Doué has quietly built a solid reputation as a dynamic and tactically disciplined defender.
He featured regularly in a Strasbourg team that at one point looked poised to challenge for Champions League qualification, before a poor run of form derailed their ambitions late in the season.
Though not as high-profile as his younger brother Désiré — who also left Rennes last summer to join Paris Saint-Germain — Guela Doué’s development has caught the attention of Milan’s recruitment team.
His younger sibling made headlines by scoring twice in PSG’s 5-0 UEFA Champions League final win over Inter Milan, ending the club’s long wait for European success.
Milan are expected to accelerate their search for reinforcements in the coming weeks as they look to rejuvenate their squad ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.
