German side RB Leipzig are keen on extending the contract of France defender of DR Congo descent, El Chadaille Bitshiabu.
The club is currently in advanced talks to tie down the teenager to a contract that will keep him at the club for a longer period.
Checks have revealed that negotiations are progressing positively, and a signing is expected soon.
El Chadaille Bitshiabu, 19, signed for RB Leipzig from PSG in the summer of 2023 for around €15 million.
He has impressed with his performances for the team in the last two years.
During the 2024/25 football season, the defender played 21 matches and helped RB Leipzig to finish 7th in the German Bundesliga.
Satisfied with the progress and development of El Chadaille Bitshiabu, the German club wants to reward him with a new contract.
In the new contract, the teenager will receive more money annually. He is also being presented with a plan to help his development.
