Danny Welbeck Linked with Record Move to Hull City
Manchester United striker Danny Welbeck, who has enjoyed a promising spell with the Red Devils in recent seasons, could be on the move this summer.
According to the Daily Mirror, Hull City are preparing to make a significant bid for the English forward of Ghanaian descent. The Premier League club is reportedly willing to offer around €17.4 million, a record transfer fee for Hull, underlining their intent to secure Welbeck’s services.
Welbeck is expected to fill the void left by Irish striker Shane Long, who is set to join Southampton. Despite being under contract at Manchester United until 2016, the future of the 23-year-old England international remains uncertain amid growing interest from Hull.
