Dove Wome looks set for a new chapter in South Africa’s Premier Soccer League. The Togolese midfielder, who has fallen out of favor at Mamelodi Sundowns after being left behind during training in Zimbabwe, is on the move.
Despite interest from Kaizer Chiefs, it seems SuperSport United is leading the race to sign him. Wome’s agent has reportedly been in South Africa discussing terms with SuperSport, with a contract signing expected to be finalized soon.
If the move goes through, this will mark Wome’s third PSL club, following his spells at Free State Stars and Sundowns. He originally joined Sundowns in 2013 on a three-year contract but now looks poised to seek more playing time elsewhere.
