Ben Sangaré Signs Historic Three-Year Deal with US Créteil
After a promising loan spell in the Paris suburbs, young Malian defender Ben Sangaré has committed his future to US Créteil, signing a three-year contract with the club—a first in its history.
Sangaré, formerly of Arles Avignon, expressed pride in becoming the club’s first-ever transfer signing. “It’s true they’ve never made a transfer before, so it’s a source of pride. I’m determined to repay their trust on the pitch,” he said.
The 23-year-old, who had previously spent four to five months on loan with Créteil, revealed that his desire to stay was driven by the positive environment at the club. “There’s a great atmosphere here, and I get along well with everyone. There was a lot of negotiation, but I’m really happy the transfer finally went through.”
Sangaré now looks ahead with clear goals for the upcoming season. “I want to play as many matches as possible and improve my stats. Last season I scored three goals in 13 appearances but had no assists. I believe I can do better and want to contribute more to the team’s success.”
His signing marks a new chapter for US Créteil as they aim to strengthen their squad with the young defender’s versatility and ambition. Fans will be eager to see how Sangaré develops and impacts the team in the months to come.
