Coach Rulani Mokwena wishes Wydad AC success in FIFA Club World Cup after departure

Wydad Casablanca’s Rulani Mokwena condemns racist remarks following Tangier clash

South African tactician Rulani Mokwena has bid an emotional farewell to Moroccan club Wydad Athletic Club.

After mutually agreeing to terminate his contract, the gaffer left his role at Wydad AC today.

“Wydad Athletic Club and Rulani Mokwena have mutually agreed to terminate their contract with immediate effect,” an Official Joint Statement from the two parties said.

In his farewell message, Coach Rulani Mokwena wished Wydad Athletic Club success in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.

“As I say goodbye, I carry unforgettable memories from Wydad, a club that will forever remain in my heart. I wish the team, staff, and fans tremendous success in the new season and the Club World Cup. May you continue to make history and inspire us all, Dima Wydad,” Coach Rulanai Mokwena said.

Meanwhile, Wydad AC have also extended appreciation to the departing South African coach for his commitment and hard work during his stay at the club.

The Moroccan club has wished the coach the best in the next chapter of his career.
