I don’t think that there is a team hungrier to win the UCL than PSG – Ousmane Dembele
France forward of Malian descent Ousmane Dembele has argued that no team in the world is hungrier to win the UEFA Champions League than Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).
The forward has been in outstanding form for PSG this season, playing a key role in inspiring the side to reach the finals of the competition.
In the final, PSG will battle Italian Serie A giants Inter Milan.
Speaking ahead of the final, Ousmane Dembele has described the UEFA Champions League as a special competition.
He believes PSG are the hungriest club heading into the final, insisting that players are ready to do everything to clinch the trophy.
“The Champions League final is special. The key? I don’t think that there is a team that is hungrier than us. We want to bring the cup to Paris,” Dembele said at the UNFP Awards on Sunday.
At the awards ceremony, Dembele was named Ligue 1’s Best Player for the 2024/25 campaign.
He has been outstanding in the UEFA Champions League as well and is hoping to excel in the final to secure the trophy for the Parisians.
