Bayern Munich’s contract renewal talks with German international of Senegalese descent Leroy Sane has hit a stumbling block.
Sane, whose current contract expires in the summer has yet to sign anew deal with the Bundesliga giants, sparking concerns about his future.
Bayer Munich had previously agreed a deal to extend the contract of the former Manchester City star, however, recent change in agency appears to be a stumbling block.
According to reports in the media, negotiations between Bayern and Sane over a new contract have hit a snag.
Bayern will not improve its previous offer, and if Sane does not accept the original terms, the contract will not be renewed. It is also reported that Bayern expects Sane’s final decision by the end of this month.
Born in Essen, Germany, Sané has deep African roots; his father, Souleymane Sané, is a former Senegalese international footballer, and his mother, Regina Weber, is a German former rhythmic gymnast.
Meanwhile, the 29-year-old has attracted interest from Premier League clubs Liverpool and Arsenal.
This season, Sane has scored 13 goals and provided 5 assists from 43 appearances across competitions for Bayern Munich.
