The Democratic Republic of Congo staged a comeback to defeat the Central African Republic 3-1 in their second Group C match at the U20 Africa Cup of Nations on Monday in Suez.
Raphaël Nzabakomada Yakoma gave the Central Africans an early lead in the 10th minute, but DR Congo responded just before half-time through Noah Makanza.
The forward then added a second shortly after the break, before Samuel Ntanda sealed the win with a header in the 59th minute.
The victory puts DR Congo at the top of Group C with four points.
They need just a draw against Senegal to reach the quarterfinals, while the Central African Republic must beat Ghana to keep their hopes alive.
