Serhou Guirassy believes Borussia Dortmund belong in the Champions League, and he’s doing everything to help them get there.
After a rocky Bundesliga season that left fans frustrated, Dortmund have come alive under coach Niko Kovac. Though his impact wasn’t instant, the team is finally showing its strength. A recent 4-0 win over Wolfsburg has pushed BVB closer to Europe’s top competition, a goal that once seemed out of reach.
Guirassy played a key role in that victory, scoring twice alongside Karim Adeyemi. The result has not only lifted Dortmund’s spirits but also their position in the table.
The striker sees the final two league games, against Bayer Leverkusen and Holstein Kiel, as must-wins. His determination was clear after the match: “A very important game. Of course, we also looked at the competition. We have a responsibility… I hope we finish this season with two more wins.”
Guirassy has played 28 games, scored 19 games, assisted two in the Bundesliga this season.
