Ghana’s planned friendly against Guatemala ahead of the 2014 World Cup has been canceled, as reported by L’Équipe. Originally scheduled for June 6 or 7 in the United States, the match will not take place.
Now in search of a replacement opponent, the Black Stars are reportedly considering a friendly against South Korea, which would be held at FIU Stadium in Miami on either June 9 or 10.
This match would serve as Ghana’s final tune-up before entering a very challenging Group G at the World Cup, where they’ll face Portugal, Germany, and the United States.
