German-Senegalese Malick Thiaw could leave AC Milan this summer under key condition

German giants, Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen, are both interested in signing Germany-born defender of Senegalese descent, Malick Thiaw.

The two clubs are set to engage in a bidding war in the summer transfer window in a bid to secure the services of the AC Milan centre-back.

According to reports gathered so far, both Bayern and Leverkusen have been closely monitoring Thiaw’s development, and a summer move is increasingly likely.

The highly-rated youngster, who previously played for Schalke 04, is reportedly on the fringes of Milan’s long-term plans, and this could pave the way for a potential return to the Bundesliga.

AC Milan are believed to value Thiaw between €25 and €30 million, and are carefully weighing up transfer market possibilities before making a final decision.

The defender, though happy playing in Italy, will reportedly not mind accepting a move in the summer window. He is open to developing and hopes to continue playing football at any of the top clubs next season.
