Nigeria international Victor Osimhen has turned down an offer from Italian giants Juventus in favour of a possible move to the Premier League this summer.

Osimhen is set for a permanent departure from Napoli at the end of the season, with several clubs expressing interest in the attacker.

The highly-rated attacker has glitter for Galatasaray, racking 20 goals in 22 appearances in the Turkish top-flight. With a permanent move to the Turkish side looking impossible, Osimhen will return to Napoli at the end of his loan spell in June.

Napoli has slapped a €70 million transfer fee on Osimhen as the club seek to cash in on the Nigeria attacker this summer.

Juventus, who are seeking to strengthen their attack for the next campaign attempted to sway Osimhen with an ambitious project, but the former Serie A goal king prefers a move to England as the summer window approaches.

Osimhen’s compatriot, William Troost-Ekong initially disclosed the highly rated forward would prefer a move to England.

Meanwhile, the Catalan press reported that Osimhen was offered to Barcelona as a potential replacement for Robert Lewandowski, but the player’s financial demands were too high for the Spaniards.
