Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed that midfielder Callum Olusesi has signed a new long-term contract with the club, committing his future until the end of the 2028-2029 season.
The highly-rated midfielder’s new deal comes just a year after he signed his first professional contract with the Premier League side.
A product of Tottenham’s youth academy, Olusesi has risen through the ranks, making his first-team debut on January 23, 2025, against TSG Hoffenheim in the Europa League.
The 19-year-old has since earned 21 senior caps, including appearances in the Premier League, Europa League, Carabao Cup, and FA Cup.
Eligible to represent Nigeria’s national team, Olusesi has also been involved with England’s youth setup, earning caps at U16, U17, and U18 levels.
His performance in a European U17 Championship qualifier against the Faroe Islands in November 2023 made him provisionally cap-tied to England.
In his time with Tottenham’s youth teams, Olusesi played a pivotal role in securing both the U17 and U18 Premier League Cup titles during the 2022-2023 season.
He also made his debut for the U21s last season, contributing to their Premier League 2 championship triumph.
This season, Olusesi has been a key figure for Tottenham’s development squad, captaining the side on several occasions and scoring four goals in nine appearances in Premier League 2.
