Exclusively reported by Africa Top Sports.com: Alseny Kourouma Paulao, the local Guinean international and forward for Satellite FC, the current frontrunner in Guinea’s Football League 1, is in advanced negotiations with the leadership of Stade Rennais, a club in the French Ligue 1, according to reliable sources.
The 19-year-old Guinean reportedly arrived in Rennes on Tuesday, where he successfully underwent a medical examination, gearing up to join the ranks of the Breton club.
While specific details of the contract remain confidential, sources suggest that an agreement has been reached between Paulao and the Breton club. Crowned champion of Guinea with Horoya AC in the previous season, Paulao moved to Satellite FC, which has surpassed Horoya in the Ligue 1 standings, previously holding the top spot.
Notably, Paulao, who had also attracted interest from Bastia, will now have the opportunity to join his compatriot and senior Guinean international, Sadio Diallo, already making a mark within Guinea’s national team, the Syli.
