The Black Stars of Ghana hammered the Barea of Madagascar 3-0 on Monday night, securing an important victory in the qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The national teams of the two countries locked horns in Morocco today in Round 6 of the qualifiers for next year’s mundial.

In what was a Group I encounter, both national teams targeted a win to take control of the group.

Thanks to a sensational brace from Thomas Partey, a goal from Mohammed Kudus, and three assists from Jordan Ayew, the Black Stars of Ghana earned a deserved 3-0 victory at the end of the 90 minutes.

The win means the Black Stars have opened a five-point gap in the Group I standings and with a big chance of qualifying for the World Cup.
