England-Nigerian forward Tammy Abraham chooses team success over personal goals at AC Milan
England striker of Nigerian descent, Tammy Abraham has indicated that he is focused on being a team player at AC Milan.
The forward climbed off the bench on Saturday to feature for AC Milan against Como in the Italian Serie A and set up Tijjani Reijnders for the winning goal in the 75th minute.
Speaking in a post-match interview, Abraham stressed the importance of the three points, adding that he prioritises team success over personal goals.
“These were vital points – we needed this win to head into the break with confidence. Coming off the bench? That’s what I do. Whenever I play, I want to help the team as much as possible – I’m a team player. I’m happy to assist my best mate,” Tammy Abraham said.
This season, the England-Nigerian forward has scored two goals and provided three assists after making 23 appearances in the Italian Serie A.
