Nwankwo Kanu’s Son, Sean, signs first professional contract in Poland

Sean Kanu, the son of Nigerian football icon Nwankwo Kanu, has taken a significant step in his career by signing his first professional contract with Polish third-division club Górnik Polkowice.

The 19-year-old, who previously trained at Watford’s academy in England, has now secured his place in senior football, marking a new chapter in his journey as he follows in the footsteps of his legendary father.

Kanu’s signing has been met with pride from his family, particularly his mother, Amara Kanu, who expressed her joy and support through a heartfelt message on social media.

“Congratulations, my son, Sean Kanu. You have put so much work and dedication into your craft, and I am so proud of you. More goals are on the horizon,” she wrote.

The young footballer now has the opportunity to develop his skills in Poland, where he will be aiming to establish himself and progress in his professional career.
