Shabab Al-Ordon SC has officially terminated the contract of Algerian midfielder Abdul Malek Muftahi by mutual agreement.
The club announced the decision on its official Facebook page, expressing gratitude for Abdul Malek Muftahi ’s time with the team and wishing him success in the future.
The official statement reads “The Board of Directors of the Jordan Youth Club decided to terminate the contract of the Algerian professional Abdul Malek Muftahi by compromise, The board of directors thanked the key player for the time he spent with the team and wished him success in the next stage.”
Abdul Malek Muftahi joined Shabab Al-Ordon SC at the start of the current season but struggled to make an impact. His performances failed to convince former coaches Mahmoud Shalabaya and Raed Assaf, as well as the team’s current head coach, Wassim Al-Bazour. As a result, his playing time remained limited throughout his stint with the club.
With Abdul Malek Muftahi ’s departure, Shabab Al-Ordon SC now has no foreign professionals in its squad.
The team currently sits seventh in the league standings with 18 points.
