France-born forward with Ivorian roots, Jean-Luc Dompé is close to a contract extension with German Bundesliga 2 side Hamburger SV.
The club, since January, has been making efforts to extend the contract of the exciting attacker.

However, there is one more issue standing in the way of the new contract. According to sources, Jean-Luc Dompé is demanding to be the top salary earner at the German club.
His demand for an increased salary has stalled ongoing talks, but Hamburger officials are confident a deal will be reached in the coming weeks.
The forward is now keen on playing his best football to help Hamburger secure promotion to the German Bundesliga.
Jean-Luc Dompé, 29, has this season scored six goals and provided six assists after making 22 appearances in the Bundesliga 2.
