Sudan are set to face on Jordan as part of preparation for the upcoming 2026 World Cup qualifiers this month.
The Falcons of Jediane will face Senegal on March 18 before taking on South Sudan on March 24 in the fifth and sixth rounds of the qualifiers in Group B.
Sudan, led by Ghanaian tactician James Kwasi Appiah sit on top of their group following an impressive performance in their initial four matches.
In an attempt to maintain momentum, Sudan, who are currently in Saudi Arabia preparing for the World Cup qualification games has lined up a friendly clash with Jordan.
The Sudan national team will spend 12 days in Saudi Arabia for an intensive preparation before heading to Libya on March 17, 2025, for the crucial games.
Meanwhile, coach Kwasi Appiah called up a lineup that combines local players and international professionals.
A chunk of the squad plies their trade for the two top teams in Sudan, notably, Al Hilal and Al-Merreikh. He invited ten players each from both Al Hilal and Al-Merreikh.
Additionally, a number of Sudanese professionals were also called up from the Australian League.

In addition to Munjed El-Nil, the goalkeeper of Hilal El-Sahel.
