REVEALED: How Napoli rejected PSG’s offer for Victor Osimhen last summer
It has come to light that French giants PSG attempted to sign Victor Osimhen from SSC Napoli last summer but failed.
According to information gathered, PSG offered a sum of €210 million to the Italian club hoping to sign both the Nigerian forward and Georgian star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
Napoli believed to have valued the two players higher rejected the offer from PSG.
Renowned football journalist Fabrizio Romano confirmed that PSG’s bid was turned down during the summer transfer window. The Parisian club had set their sights on strengthening their squad following Kylian Mbappé’s departure to Real Madrid on a free transfer.
Although the summer advances were not successful, PSG has since signed Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
Meanwhile, Victor Osimhen is now on loan at Turkish Super Lig side Galatasaray. He remains a key target for several top clubs in Europe.
He is expected to seal a big-money move from Napoli next summer.
