Manchester City winger Savinho has eulogized Egyptian teammate Omar Marmoush following his hat-trick heroics at the weekend.
The former Frankfurt star fired his first hat-trick in just 14 minutes on Saturday, contributing to Manchester City’s emphatic 4-0 win over Newcastle United in the English Premier League.
Speaking after the game, Savinho who set up Marmoush’s third goal of the match said, “Manchester City did not pay money in the air, he was one of the best scorers in the German league.”
“I’m excited for him, I told him in the dressing room that I would give him an assist against Newcastle, and I can only thank God for that,” he added.
Omar Marmoush joined Manchester City from Frankfurt in the January transfer window and has been tipped to light up the Premier League.
The 26-year-old racked up 15 goals and provided 10 assists from 17 games in the Bundesliga before joining Manchester City.
