Botswana’s national football team, the Zebras, has received friendly match proposals from Egypt and Sudan ahead of the 2014 World Cup qualifiers scheduled for March. Coach Stanley Tshosane mentioned that they have two good proposals and need to decide which team to face based on their preparations, considering they are already scheduled to play against Ethiopia. Botswana is currently at the bottom of their World Cup qualifying group with 1 point. Ethiopia leads the group with 4 points, followed by the Central African Republic and South Africa.
