Rayan Cherki could be on the move this summer, with Olympique Lyonnais reportedly ready to part ways with their talented academy product for €22.5 million.
According to Sky Sports and RMC Sport journalist Fabrice Hawkins, the 21-year-old attacking midfielder is poised to leave, following a secret verbal agreement made during his contract extension in September. This agreement reportedly allows Cherki to leave for a fee around €22 million.
Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, and Bayer Leverkusen have shown interest, although none have yet made formal offers. Cherki’s future has been the subject of widespread speculation, with European clubs keeping a close eye on his situation.
Along with the Bundesliga trio, Premier League side Liverpool and Serie A’s Napoli have been linked with the player, particularly since Khvicha Kvaratskhelia’s move to PSG.
The young French-Algerian talent, who has long been expected to move on from Lyon, now faces a significant decision as clubs across Europe vie for his signature.
