Gabon star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has reveals plan of becoming an actor after his football career.
Aubameyang, who plies his trade for Saudi Arabia outfit Al-Qadsiah is taking the idea seriously, preparing for his new path by taking acting lessons. He mentioned that he envisions himself in comedic roles
“If you see me in a film that’s too serious then nah, you will not believe it. If it’s comedy, yes, you’re going to believe it,” Aubameyang told The Athletic in an interview.
However, Aubameyang hasn’t ruled out staying involved in football. He is intrigued by roles such as sporting director or even club ownership. Coaching, though, is not something that appeals to him.
Throughout his career, Aubameyang has played for numerous top clubs, including AC Milan, Borussia Dortmund, Arsenal, Barcelona, Chelsea, and Marseille.
In the summer of 2024, he moved to Saudi Arabia, joining Al-Qadsiah for a €9 million transfer fee paid to Marseille.
Aubameyang is also a key player for the Gabon national team, having earned 77 caps and scored 31.
