Saudi Arabian club, Al Fateh, is reportedly eyeing Egyptian midfielder Marwan Attia for a potential move during the January transfer window.

Al Fateh’s struggles in the first half of the 2024/25 Saudi Pro League season have left the team languishing in 18th place with just six points from 13 matches.

Now under the guidance of Portuguese coach José Gomez, the club is aiming to revitalize its squad to stave off relegation.

Among the players on their radar is 26-year-old Marwan Attia, who currently plies his trade with Al Ahly in the Egyptian Premier League.

A combative and dynamic midfielder, Attia has been recognized for his ability to make a significant impact in midfield.

Valued at €2.2 million by Transfermarkt, Attia joined Al Ahly in January 2023 from Ittihad Alexandria and is under contract with the Egyptian giants until June 30, 2027.

Should Al Fateh finalize the deal, Attia’s addition could provide much-needed stability and strength to their midfield as they battle to climb the league table.
