A Frenchman purchased Eric Cantona’s 1984 Rolls-Royce Corniche, which had been live-graffitied by street artist JonOne on the Grand Journal show in November. The buyer paid 125,000 euros for the car, which originally had a price of 20,000 euros. Cantona decided to auction the car and donate all profits to the Abbé Pierre Foundation, stating that the Rolls-Royce, as a symbol of wealth, painted by a renowned street artist, represented a meaningful connection between luxury and poverty.
