Guinean striker Serhou Guirassy has made an immediate impact at Borussia Dortmund, but despite his impressive performances, the striker is not satisfied with his progress.
In an interview with Sport Bild, Guirassy revealed a surprising wish: “The speed of Kylian Mbappé.” The 28-year-old acknowledged that while it’s a talent you can’t train, his own pace still holds strong. “Because you can’t train it. Either you have it or you don’t. If you’re not born with the ability for high top speed, you simply don’t have it,” he explained.
However, the stats tell a different story. With a top speed of 33.12 km/h, Guirassy ranks among the quickest in the Bundesliga, proving that even without Mbappé’s pace, he’s a force to be reckoned with.
Since his move to Dortmund, Guirassy has made a major contribution with ten goals in 16 competitive matches, cementing his place as a key player for BVB. Despite his self-critical nature, his performances remain vital for his team.
