Ghana international, Inaki Williams played a pivotal role in Athletic Club’s surprise 2-1 victory over the mighty Real Madrid on Wednesday night.
The 30-year-old forward started the match at Estadio San Mames and went the full 90 minutes, putting in a tireless shift for the home side.
The action-packed encounter began with Real Madrid taking an early lead through Kylian Mbappe’s strike in the 14th minute, but the goal was quickly disallowed after a VAR review determined the French star was in an offside position.
