She faces competition from South Africa’s Andile Dlamini, Morocco’s Khadija Er-rmichi, Egypt’s Habiba Sabry, and DR Congo’s Fideline Ngoy.
Nnadozie, who claimed this title at the 2023 CAF Awards, is looking to defend her crown.
In the Women’s National Team of the Year category, the Nigerian national team is contending with Cameroon, Morocco, Zambia, and South Africa for the top spot.
Meanwhile, in the Club of the Year category, Edo Queens, who finished fourth in the 2024 CAF Women’s Champions League, are vying against TP Mazembe, FC Masar, ASFAR, and Mamelodi Sundowns.
Additionally, rising star Chiamaka Okwuchukwu of the Falconets has earned a nomination for the Young Player of the Year award, cementing Nigeria’s strong presence at the prestigious continental event.
