Swiss Super League side FC Lucerne, currently fifth in the league after 16 matches, are reportedly targeting Cameroonian midfielder Alexis Alégué as a key signing for the upcoming winter transfer window.

According to 237foot, Lucerne is keen to strengthen their squad and view the versatile 27-year-old as an ideal candidate to boost their midfield options.

Alégué, who currently plays for FK Jablonec, has showcased his ability to adapt across multiple midfield roles, making him a strong contender to fill the void left by the injured Nicky Beloko.

This season, Alégué has been in fine form, featuring in 17 matches across all competitions and contributing five goals and two assists.

His performances underline his potential to make an impact at Lucerne, should the transfer materialize.

Despite being contracted with FK Jablonec until June 2026, Alégué’s reported market value of €275,000 makes him an attractive and affordable prospect for the Swiss club.

The Cameroonian, who began his professional career at FC Nantes, has gained valuable experience in European football and is seen as a player capable of adding depth and dynamism to Lucerne’s midfield.

If the transfer goes ahead, it would mark an important step for both the player and the club as Lucerne looks to consolidate their position in the league and push for higher ambitions in the second half of the season.
